2024 Innovation Forum MicroRNA – New Approaches in Alzheimer's Diagnostics

The 2024 Innovation Forum MicroRNA – "New Approaches in Alzheimer's Diagnostics” will take place on September 5th at the Charité campus in Berlin (CCO Auditorium, Virchowweg 6, 10117 Berlin) as part of the joint BMBF project "NeuroMiR - Multiparametric bead-based detection of miRNA signatures of neurodegenerative diseases".

NeuroMiR is a consortium of eight research institutions and SMEs working together to advance the early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases. Our focus is on the simultaneous measurement of both specific microRNA as well as protein markers in the blood of patients. This innovative approach aims to enable significant progress in the early diagnosis & treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

PolyAn is supporting the development within the consortum with novel beads and new surfaces for immobilization of biomolecules. The new beads are designed for read-out in the near-infrared range on a new laboratory instrument that is also being development within the project.
